Aim: to give engineering students and staff more information about the STEM Ambassador Programme to support them to engage with young people.

STEM Ambassadors is a UK wide volunteer programme for employers who work in STEM sectors and are passionate about inspiring the next generation and supporting the local community. This volunteering can take many forms including working with Developing the Young Workforce to engage schools. As a STEM Ambassador, volunteers get access to lots of opportunities, free training and networking sessions, access to STEM resources and support and advice from the STEM Ambassadors in Scotland Hub based at SSERC (

This event is open to members of Engineers without Borders Societies from any university in Scotland and engineering students and staff from Strathclyde University.
