About the Event

STEM Ambassadors are people working or studying in a STEM field, that are PVG-checked and who give up their time to bring to life STEM subjects and showcase the variety of different STEM careers. STEM Ambassadors regularly work with primary schools, both online and in-person through a variety of different activities, from project mentoring to topic talks.

The STEM Ambassadors in Scotland Hub based at SSERC can also support you to deliver STEM in your school. The hub supports key events throughout the year such as Maths Week Scotland and British Science Week. The hub also runs a free STEM resource lending library.

During this short session you can find out more about how the programme works, who our STEM Ambassadors are, get ideas about what you can do, and how to get started.

This session is suitable for any primary school practitioner in Scotland.
