About the Event

The Prince’s Foundation and the Ayrshire branch of Outdoor and Woodland Learning Scotland working together with the STEM Ambassadors in Scotland Hub to offer a theory-based session to taking STEM into nature.

The aim of this session is to provide a quick introduction to taking STEM activities outdoors, so that STEM Ambassadors have the confidence and useful resources to do so.

Explore some of the practical challenges and solutions of taking learning outdoors, this session is suited for those who are just beginning to explore outdoor learning and would like to pick up some handy hints and tips for how to make your outdoor learning, safe, responsible, educational and of course fun! This is a virtual event and will be accompanied by a handout covering the main points made.

** This event is open to STEM Ambassadors from across the UK but does include information and resources specific to Scotland.

*** We intend to follow up this virtual event with practical in-person training days across Scotland in Spring 2022, so we hope attendees to this would plan to come along to the follow-up in-person sessions. **
