About the Event

Moray STEM Food and Drink Employers Lunch & Learn @ UHI Moray on 6th March 2024, 11.30 am - 2 pm

  • Are you interested in delivering STEM activities in schools and colleges to highlight the amazing roles and careers in the food and drink sector?
  • Do you want to bring more STEM focus into the activities you are already delivering through DYW?
  • Would you like new ideas, training and support to help you deliver your activity?
  • Do you want to engage with more young people in your community but are unsure where to start?
  • Would you like to get together with like-minded people to share your experiences?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the event for you!

Throughout, we will highlight the support and resources available via the STEM Ambassador programme to make it easier for you to organise, prepare and deliver activities to young people in schools/colleges – your future workforce.

We will update you on the work of Developing the Young Workforce Moray, the STEM Ambassadors programme and the Scottish Food and Drink Ambassadors Scheme within this. You will also hear directly from existing Food and Drink STEM Ambassadors and have the opportunity to discuss and ask any questions.

Please note this event is for Food and Drink employers across Scotland and is not just limited to Moray. There is no cost to signing up for the STEM Ambassador programme.

Refreshments including lunch will be provided throughout the event.

There is ample parking available at the back entrance to UHI Moray. However, the car park can get busy on Wednesdays by mid-morning so please allow time to find a space.

Photographs will also be taken throughout the event. If for any reason, you do not want your photo taken, please let one of the DYW Moray team know.
