The Programme

STEM Ambassadors are PVG/DBS checked volunteers that give up their time to bring STEM subjects to life by engaging with young people in and out of the classroom. These valuable opportunities are free to access.

Schools and colleges, and youth and community groups, can collaborate with STEM Ambassadors to engage with young people in person, or virtually, to support a wide range of activities such as careers talks, mentoring, practical workshops or exhibitions.

STEM Ambassadors support learning, illuminate careers, and raise aspirations.

Use the links below to find out more about how to become a STEM Ambassador, how to work with them as a teacher or in the community, or how to support the programme as an employer.
