About the Event

Join Caitlin from the Marine Conservation Society for an online training session to explore the wonderful world of seaweed.

Learn how to correctly identify and survey 14 seaweed species along the shoreline and how to take part in our citizen science project in partnership with the Natural History Museum. The data collected from this survey helps inform scientists about changes to UK sea temperature, ocean acidification and invasive species. Find out more about the survey here: The Big Seaweed Search.

The presentation will last for approximately 45 minutes and there will be an opportunity for Q&A at the end.
