About the Event

Join the STEM Ambassador in Scotland Team and the Empire Retold Team from Glasgow School of Art to learn more about the amazing Empire Retold resources, which take a different look at the British Empire Exhibition through augmented reality.

This session aims to show Primary and Early Years Educators and STEM Ambassadors how they can use the Empire Retold resources and the augmented reality app to look at STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) through a different lens, bringing STEM to life in the context of history and arts.

You will hear from the Empire Retold project lead about the ins and outs of the project and how the resources have been in used in educational setting already. SSERC will be there to help you figure out how to incorporate this resource in pre-existing STEM activities, including how to request STEM Ambassadors or promote a STEM Ambassador offer.
