About the Event

Microorganisms are harmful because they cause different diseases in human, plants and animals. Ironically, they are also beneficial as they used in the production of vaccines antibiotics, food digestion. A microbiologist studies microorganisms and can work in diverse areas in research lab to understand how microorganisms behave to prevent and control infections worldwide.

This session is ideal for P7, S1 & S2 pupils and is part of the Fife STEM Sustainability Festival (schools from anywhere across the UK are welcome to join).
