About the Event

Join the Marine Conservation Society for a training evening on our citizen science projects for all ages, which gather vital data on marine and terrestrial litter in the UK, and use those finding to push for change.

Be part of the bigger picture.

Learn how to run educational and practical outdoor sessions linked to our  Beachwatch litter survey and coastal clean-up programme, plus the Source to Sea Litter Quest, our project for gathering data on litter inland. We’ll look at issues such as plastic production and pollution and sewage related debris.

There will be the option to join our MCS staff member on the beach for a follow-up practical session within one-two weeks of taking part in this online training.
