About the Event

This is an in-person training opportunity at STEM Ambassadors in Scotland office at SSERC in Dunfermline taking place on Thursday 28 April, 17.15 - 18.30.

Marty Robot is a humanoid robot designed for students to learn about robotics and coding. Marty can move, dance and do other activities and has been designed to be used in the classroom. It also comes with a wealth of activities to complete with Marty and a group of learners.

This training opportunity for STEM Ambassadors who want to learn how to use this resource for their own volunteering. Marty is part of the Hub's lending library where we can provide STEM resources to STEM Ambassadors for free to run in schools or groups. During this session you will learn more about Marty, how it works, ideas on how to deliver the activity and meet other STEM Ambassadors and the Hub team. You don't need to have any experience with coding already as it is beginner friendly and you could use Marty to support workshops for lots of different topics.
