About the Event

Part of the Fife STEM Connect-ability festival but open to any schools in Scotland the 'Meet a STEM Ambassador' events are an opportunity to discover different areas of STEM by hearing from different STEM Ambassadors. 

Ally Hughes has a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Marine Biotechnology and will be talking about new scientific discoveries in Scotland. Learn about the cutting-edge research happening in your own back yard! From new treatments to bacterial infections, growing bone cells, and rapid diagnostics for cancer, Scotland is a hotbed of exciting scientific research - will you be part of our next big breakthrough? There will be a presentation from Ally followed a Q&A session where learners can ask questions. 

The session will take place on Microsoft Teams Live.

While this is for the Fife STEM Connect-ability Festival, it is open to every primary or secondary school.
