My Skills My Life Training session

Aim: to give STEM Ambassadors the tools to deliver My Skills My Life

My Skills My Life is a resource from WISE with the aim to encourage more women and girls to consider a future in STEM. It looks at different types of people and their own characteristics and personality traits matching these with jobs and other women in STEM. 

During this session we will run through unconscious bias and how it can affect our behaviour, and investigate stereotyping.  We will then cover the My Skills My Life session - a fantastic quiz-based resource you can use with young people aged 11 to 19.  

We will finish the session by discussing the available resources to support you to deliver the session yourself. 

This training is open to any STEM Ambassador.
