About the Event

SSERC and the RAISE (Raising Attainment in STEM education) network are delighted to provide an opportunity for STEM Ambassadors to meet and network with teachers from across East Dunbartonshire. This will include early years, primary and secondary teachers. The event will consist of a couple of short presentations and then a speed networking type event where groups of STEM Ambassadors and teachers will chat about what each of them do, what teachers need from STEM Ambassadors and what STEM Ambassadors can offer. Groups will rotate so you will get the opportunity to meet lots of different teachers.

This is an excellent way to find out more about what is taught in the curriculum, where you can add value and understand more about the STEM engagement needs in a school. Ambassadors from all areas are invited to attend, not just East Dunbartonshire. The event will run from 4:00-6:00pm in Bishopbriggs Academy.
