Nuffield Research Placement - information for STEM Ambassadors

Nuffield Research Placements are an excellent opportunity for S5 students from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain hands-on research experience with a STEM employer (from industry or a university). Placement mentors provide their student with a research question and brief project description and over 2 weeks in the summer, the student will carry out scientific investigation and collect and analyse data to answer that question and produce a scientific report and poster. This session will introduce the Programme, how it works and how you, as a STEM Ambassador, can be involved as a placement mentor within your organisation.
