About the Event

The aim of this training session is to help STEM Ambassadors to develop the knowledge and confidence to volunteer in primary and secondary schools and is ideal for new or experienced volunteers. 

Topics covered during the session include:

  • What information to ask a teacher in advance

  • Tips for setting up groups/picking volunteers

  • Pitching content to the right level

  • How topics are taught
