About the Event
The aim of this session is to improve your science engagement through social media and you will get tips and ideas on how to effectively engage others with science and STEM.
Questions answered during this session include:
- What is the best network to use?
- How can I make the most  of the time I have available?
- Why should I use social media?
The session will be led by Dr Heather Doran who is the Public Engagement Manager for the award-winning Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science at the University of Dundee. She was awarded a Churchill Trust Fellowship to look at the use of social media for engagement with science and has spoken with social media leads from organisations such as MIT and NASA.
