What is your favourite thing about your job?

Variability across Engineering assets and sectors. Being able to bring excellence from Defence & Aerospace to Renewables.

What is a normal day in your role like?

It varies but I produce processes, teach, audit all compliance and provide technical advice. QHSE is Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental. TA is Technical Authority.

Can you suggest an activity that could be done at home that illustrates an aspect of your work?

You can look at the requirements of ISO17020 and understand what an inspection body does or you can develop a small scale wind turbine from kits to power your phone.
