As young people return to classrooms and non-school settings across Scotland, we want to remind you that Ambassadors are still available to volunteer, whether virtually or in person.
By inviting an Ambassador into your activities with young people you are showcasing the different roles and pathways into industry, and raising awareness of important skills in the workplace. You are also helping young people meet a wide range of inspiring role models, transforming their perceptions of STEM subjects and careers. Our Ambassadors bring STEM subjects to life. Engaging with STEM Ambassadors is easy, and it all takes place on the STEM Learning website. You can advertise an activity you would like support with, or browse the Offers of activity that STEM Ambassadors are advertising to you. STEM Ambassadors can even support session planning and work with you to identify key areas to explore with your learners.
With COP26 approaching, you're likely already thinking about activities and lessons related to the topic, why not consider inviting STEM Ambassadors in related roles to add context and help spark dynamic and engaging interaction?
