Celebrating STEM Ambassadors in Scotland

STEM Ambassador in Scotland Week 2022 is here and we want to say thank you to all our wonderful ambassadors.

During STEM Ambassadors in Scotland Week we want to applaud all the ambassadors who donned face masks and armed themselves with hand gel to attend events and activities as well as all of those who took to Zoom or Teams, created video content, designed written material and found a multitude of other ways of carrying on the great work in very difficult times - thank you!

To show our gratitude, all our ambassadors who volunteered between 1 April 2021 and 28 January 2022 and recorded their activity will be receiving a very special digital badge in their inbox this week. We would love to see your badges displayed with pride, don't forget to share them with us on our social media platforms using the hashtag #SAISWeek

We want to use this week to highlight the great work our ambassadors do all year so our website and social media will be full of your stories and achievements.

Blog posts featuring ambassadors work in research as well as examples of volunteering events will be showcased throughout the week.

Starting with our first blog - Research in Biochemistry by Ane Velera.

We hope you enjoy reading about what other ambassadors have been doing and join in sharing your own stories.

We have arranged a whole host of training events during the week for our ambassadors and we aim to continue to offer these opportunities throughout the year. To find out what is available and sign up visit or events calendar.

We would love you to help us celebrate your good work, to keep up to date and join the celebration follow us on social media and get involved.
